Mekanism contacted me about a few Cell phones they needed built for a series of commercials. The commercials were for Kajeet and would required both a literal representation of a RZAR as well as a hybrid version between the RZAR and a KATANA.

I rarely get the call to do hard surface models as I am known as a character guy. This is very much by implementation. But every once in awhile something will pop up that I find interesting.

Cell phones are rather complex little things and I thought it would be a blast to create my own hybrid version of them. When it was all said and done the good people at Mekanism did a fantastic job with the spots, very cute.
